My selfie includes layers of pictures that are important to me. The mountains are in Utah, which is where I went to boarding school for a year. There's also a waterfall picture I took at the Horseshoe Falls in Canada, I just found them so mesmerizing. The dog is my dog Dora, she's 9 years old but still has the energy of a puppy. The horse in the picture is Bella, a pony I've been riding for years and whom I've grown really close to. The playbills are just some of the plays I've been in, acting is one of my absolute favorite things.
I definitely feel like I've improved as a photographer. I learned new ways to take pictures and the importance of lighting and angles. Most of all though my photoshop skills have improved. Before this class I didn't know anything about photoshop, except that it makes models look airbrushed and skinnier. Now I've learned how to turn landscape pictures into paintings and create shadows in a picture that didn't originally have them. All of the assignments we did in this class and all of the different tools I learned challenged me and in the end I'm really happy with how much I've learned.
