What Do I Do?
My Dad grudgingly followed me outside to get his picture taken. He doesn't like his picture being taken. At first he was confused "What do I do?" he would ask. "Do I smile?" but something he said that really struck me was "I'm not a model!". My Dad assumed that in order for me to take his picture, he had to have some sort of model status. He couldn't be further from the truth. Capturing people in their natural state of being is when it really looks the best. |
Challenges did occur during this process. One of the biggest obstacles for me was trying to get the correct lighting and focusing on the person. Not all of this was a struggle, finding balance was never too much of a problem for me.
